1. General Agreement

By accessing this website or purchasing a ticket pass for any walking tour, boat ride, or festival event organized by Suryanshu Shukla (@storiesofkashi), you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

2. Maritime & Boat Safety Regulations

When participating in boat rides along the sacred Ganges River:

• All boat journeys are conducted in partnership with boat operators licensed by the Varanasi Municipal Corporation (VMC).
• Wearing ISI-certified life jackets provided by our staff is mandatory for all guests while the vessel is in motion, in accordance with Uttar Pradesh Maritime Police directives.
• Guests must adhere to the instructions of the boat captain and host at all times. Leaning over railings or jumping into the river is strictly prohibited.

3. Punctuality & Reporting Times

Due to strict river navigation schedules and dawn Vedic rituals, all experiences depart promptly at the published start time. Please report to the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes prior. Late arrivals who miss boat departures cannot be refunded.

4. Ticketing & Transferability

Each digital pass contains a cryptographically signed QR code. The pass is valid for the registered number of attendees only. Once scanned at the entry checkpoint, the pass is invalidated against re-use. You may transfer your ticket to a friend or family member by informing our WhatsApp desk at least 12 hours prior to the event.
